No, we are not trying to boast of these stats of our favourite creators, instead we are telling you about how immensely the creator economy has grown and it is not even the peak yet.

The influencer industry is a market of $100Bn, yep that’s a whooping 10,000Cr. It is more than the economies of many countries around the world. It is a kind of digital revolution. While this revolution was impending, the covid-19 pandemic acted as a booster in its growth. When people were locked inside their homes with nothing to do. With so much fear and stress, social media seemed the way to relax and keep themselves sane.

2020 alone saw the rise of so many creators. There were reported to be more than 50Mn content creators across platforms, with Instagram and YouTube dominating the rest. However, analysts assumed it to be just a fad and that it would be dead as soon as the world normalises.

But, with the extension of the lockdown, this stat kept on growing and even after approaching normalcy, the fad hasn’t slowed down a bit.

The creator economy has stated something which was unimaginable a few years back. It has provided employment to so many folks and the quality of the content people demand has risen multifold in a few years.

Sail along with the boat or be a spectator, it is your personal choice but this thing will stay here till the time a much better innovation comes which again will take the world by storm and revolutionise the way we perceive content.

Our guess of that revolution is Metaverse, what do you think?
